San Francisco native currently completing PhD studies in Computational Engineering, with research emphasizing machine learning. EM is a serial techpreneur experienced across the entire startup spectrum, from initial concept through funding rounds, growth and exit, with extensive experience and relationships in Silicon Valley, China and the EU. EM also possesses a background in investment banking and Private Equity as well as direct experience in securities exchanges, both PE and High-frequency trading, and a decade in Special Forces.
Len’s an accredited change / project manager who’s lead numerous transformation initiatives across many industries internationally, including telecom, manufacturing and financial services, to name a few. With an extensive background working with tier one consulting firms, he’s conducted deep market and financial research related to business repositioning and pivot while also having developed corporate leadership and social business strategies.
DAVID ROBBINS, PhD
David’s experience spans more than 15 years designing hundreds of information systems. During PhD studies, David led implementation of systems incorporating machine intelligence and third-generation web technologies to power personalized medicine and biospecimen research. Since completing studies, David’s served as consultant to the Integrated Systems Center and Big Data Research and Analytics Labs in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UAB. Prior to PhD studies, David was VP of hardware engineering providing automation technologies to service industries.
